AI Disclosure Statement

Profiled is an AI-native platform. This page explains — plainly — where AI operates, what it can and can’t do, and the commitments we hold ourselves to. It forms part of your agreement with us (Terms of Service §20.1) and works alongside our Privacy Policy.

Where AI operates

AI builds and refines your profile from what you provide (including parsing an uploaded résumé, which we don’t keep); answers visitor questions about you, grounded in your profile; produces fit assessments when someone pastes a job description; runs optional voice sessions, including practice interviews with an AI debrief; powers Majik, our support assistant, which always identifies itself as AI; and generates the embeddings behind search.

Honest by design

Profiled’s assessments are built to be truthful, not flattering. A fit assessment may conclude that a role isn’t a good match — that is the product working as intended, for candidates and recruiters alike.

AI makes mistakes

All AI output on Profiled is generated content and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or oddly phrased. Fit assessments and profile answers are decision support, not decisions, and our Terms prohibit recruiters from rejecting a candidate on a fit score alone. Verify anything important.

Your private context

You can give the AI private context that shapes its answers without being shown to anyone. It is protected by access controls and the AI is instructed to synthesise it rather than quote it. AI systems can behave unexpectedly, and no one can guarantee with absolute certainty that fragments of private context never surface in AI output. We minimise the risk through grounding, instruction design, and output safeguards — and you control how much private context you provide.

Voice commitments

Voice is optional. Your audio streams directly from your browser to our voice provider and is never stored on Profiled’s servers. We do not create voiceprints, we do not use your voice to identify you, and we do not use AI to infer emotions from your voice. Transcripts are yours: kept for 12 months at most, deletable by you at any time.

No training on your data

Our AI providers process your data under terms that prohibit using it to train their models, and every optional data-sharing setting on our provider accounts is disabled. The full provider list is on our Sub-processors page.

No automated significant decisions

Profiled makes no automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Hiring decisions belong to humans; Profiled informs them.
